I know two races he can start with!
And dont forget SCOTUS. If Hillary won in ‘16 we would have a leftist activist court. Repubs put in a conservative court. How is that a “uniparty”?Which is the party that:
Wants gun bans and other restrictions on 2A rights?
Is for killing unborn babies under nearly all circumstances?
Is OK with open borders and illegal immigration?
Establishes sanctuary cities and other safe places for illegal aliens?
Refuses to cooperate with ICE in locating and detaining illegal aliens?
Wanted (some still do) to defund police?
Allows illicit drug use?
Wants to silence dissenting voices?
Is generally soft on crime?
Doesn't know what a woman is?
Thinks you should tolerate men/boys in womens/girls bathrooms and locker rooms?
Thinks it's OK for men to compete against women?
Preaches tolerance and unity but is anything but tolerant and unifying?
The democrat party and the republican party are the same? I don't f***ing think so.
That doesn't mean the republican party is perfect and that doesn't mean there aren't a few republican senators or representatives that might be more at home in the democrat party. And many republicans are complicit in a lot of the problems we're facing today. But that doesn't equal being the same party, and to suggest there's no difference in the parties is either ignorant or dishonest if you're being objective.
We're actively trying to restrike one side of the uniparty coin. It's not even remotely "BS" to try and fix a sabotaged system of government. We have iron clad, empirical evidence that our government is actively engaged in wrongdoing. What would you prefer we do? Revolt? Give up? I don't find either of those options acceptable right now, so tell us what you'd do different? You guys crack me up with this "uniparty" bulls**t. There sure is a lot of excitement here to have Trump as president elect and over most of his cabinet picks. But if the parties are the same, what difference does it make?
Thune is the new majority leader. Like it or not, that's just the way it is. Thune also has a very strong record of support for the 2A. So that's a good start. He's also saying that ALL of Trump's cabinet picks should have the opportunity to be heard before the senate.
Is he a typical politician? Maybe. But he's strong on guns and he's willing to give Trump's nominees a chance to be heard.
Most of you guys would b***h if you were hung with a new rope.
There is something to "the uniparty." When was the last time you saw the republicans stick together as much as the democrats? They should be on the same team. They act though as "oops, we didn't have enough support and failed, or when they lose (repubs) they always say, "we'll get them next time." Look at lankford, his border bill still would have let in well over a million illegals. You guys crack me up with this "uniparty" bulls**t.
