I think they were for testing but in the air on an airplane. I used to have several when I was a kid living out by Tinker. There was a dump just east that they dumped all sorts of stuff, even found an old bombsight. I know those are chrome plated solid brass.

Haha, we have a basket that has as many in it, the dogs will randomly pick a toy out of there, end of the day they are all over the den and we have to pick them back up, like having small kids in the house again. They have fun with them...
