This is a great idea. You need to start by finding a family/person in need, then proceede with local advertising to try to get friends of the person/family involved in spreading the word. Make sure everyone that attends to eat knows that the fundraiser is sponsored by the good folks of OSA.

The motorcycle riding group I am a member of has been able to raise many thousands of dollars over the last 6+ years to benefit local friends and families in need. This includes our Christmas program that provides needy familys with toys and clothes for the kids at Christmas along with a complete Christmas dinner for the family. (this year it was 25 families with 60 children)

Because of this we are becoming pretty well known in the community. It can work the same for OSA!
