Some hot .45 ACP for hogs or other varmints + a case of SS DuraMags.
What? Wow! Did I miss a thread? Tell us more, lucky one.Got my check in from USCCA, for winning their contest a week or so ago. Fast work.
I won their daily drawing for a gun, they send you a check for the value of the gun that they are giving away that day. Mine happened to be $1200, but I spent it on a new water heater instead of a gun. I was going to buy a 10/22 with a scope and ammo with about half of it and bank the rest for taxes, but the water heater cratered. What? Wow! Did I miss a thread? Tell us more, lucky one.
You need the a-10 to complete this. It would make a heck of a commuter vehicle.
You can never have too much ammo.I like to have a minimum amount of each caliber ammo I use,,,
The number is quite arbitrary and just reflects what I might shoot in a years time.
I call it a "Bench Stock" amount,,,
My norm for centerfire is a 3-year shooting supply.
For .22 LR ammo,,,
I like having a LOT more than that.
A few years back a friend wanted to buy .22 rifles for his two kids,,,
But he was reluctant because he could find the rifles,,,
But he couldn't find ammo to purchase,,,
More than 3 boxes at a time.
But since I had over 60,000 rounds squirreled away,,,
I loaned him 5,000 rounds to be replaced,,,
Which he did about 2 years later.
Once I reach that bench stock amount,,,
I only replace it as I use it up.
I like having 3,000 rounds on-hand for my 9mm,,,
When I open a 500 round pack of it,,,
I order another one to replenish.
I never want to repeat those Obama summers,,,
Where I was scrambling to find one box of .22 LR ammo.
I remember seeing push-shove matches at Wal Mart,,,
All over a 550 round bulk pack of Federal.
Never again.
