I put some old magnas from the grip box on it until the finish cures on the ones I'm customizing.

Ok, without pulling out the S&W bible, was the 65-5 a three inch only offering? So the 65-3 in 3inch would be an option to the 4 inch?

Mine as well. I ended up making a trade based on availability rather than value. Now I have a 3" model 64 and a 3" model 65. I'd love to find a 3" model 66 that I can afford, but I'm happy with the 2.5" for now.

The balance point is right over the front of the trigger I can hold this thing steady for an hour seems like.
I’ve not carried it yet, will eventually get some VZ grips and maybe a nice LH leather crossdraw holster

I’ve owned a 3” m66; these guys are so much sexier smoother and faster.
