Have you seen his Distinguished Marksmanship Badge? I have. Not too many people are able to earn that. It's way beyond just shooting "Expert" on the Rifle Qualification Course. Clint Black can probably outshoot 99.9% of people who seriously focus on a front sight at long ranges.
To us other mortal shooters, that means that that rifle and scope are seriously dialed in! You are right about "the gun will do it". I dunno if I'd go changing anything on that gun...
I have seen it. And heard hours of stories. He said they used to go to the range on base, and someone would back a duece &half up loaded to the hint with ammo and he'd burn it all.

Thats not the same scope, thats a Vortex Viper. I bought and still havent sighted.
I'm just glad he isn't coming to our Rimfire ENS. I for one would feel pretty stupid if he was in a lane next to me.
