Got my first ever M1 Garand today, after a nice and quick meet up with filbert on my way home from northern AR, looking forward to getting to know this weapon!
Be prepared--if you take that Garand to a public range, someone there will want to shoot it, even if they don't necessarily say so. And believe me, seeing the smile on their face when they do shoot it is worth your time and effort.Got my first ever M1 Garand today, after a nice and quick meet up with filbert on my way home from northern AR, looking forward to getting to know this weapon!

This is kinda cheating, but I did get it (back) today.
Took all my old Rockchucker stuff up to storage in Nebraska then brought it back over the weekend.
Complete RCBS setup, about 10# of powder, dies for 6 or 8 different calibers, misc primers, trimmers, 15 or so boxes of projectiles blah blah blah. I'll probably be seeing about trading some of it that I wont use for stuff that I will use but that'll come another day.
