I suppose it's my turn. Engraved Smith & Wesson 29-2 with 8 3/8" barrel. There wasn't enough daylight when i got it home for the usual pictures, but I couldn't help myself.

The finish isn't perfect, but it sure is pretty.

Well, I didn't get anything new, but did install the new Rifle Basix trigger into the Savage .17HMR that I haven't shot in years because the trigger sucked so bad.
Old trigger pull was 8lb 14 oz.
New trigger pull is 1lb 11 oz. Still has a tad to much takeup for my liking so I may have to do some more adjusting but its light years above the old trigger and makes it fun to shoot now.

Found this today. I've been looking for one for about a year now.

Congrats!! That is one that is on my list, also.

I need to dig one outa the safe and take a picture for you ---- a brand new 1978 Marlin Model 60. Still has the stickers and tags hanging on it. It's an Otasco Diamond Jubilee special edition (actual mod # may be 6060).

Thanks. I was in the right place at the right time. Went to Cabela's on a whim tonight and wandered the store for awhile. As I hit the gun counter I got to chatting with the employee there and casually mentioned I was still looking for one. He said "hang on" and disappeared to the back. A short wait later he came back, box in hand. Supposedly they were just working though the recent shipment and he had seen it in there. He joked that they only get 1 at a time and they never last 30 minutes on the shelf. I told him "well, this one isn't even making it that far".

And I'd love to see that Marlin. Sounds like a fantastic find.
