I've had it since 1978, no other owners. Also have a Marlin 336CS 30-30 that's also an Otasco Diamond Jubilee.

I HAD a Rem 1100 Lite 20 in the safe for years with the TG&Y tags hanging on it, unfired.
One dove season, a buddy's son was finally old enough to go and he called asking if I had anything for his 10 yr old to use as all he had was 12 ga.
Made the call and let the young man put the first rounds through it. Guns are made to be shot around here. I don't deny you the pleasure of having some unfired at your place.
Edit: I take all that back. I have an AR in the safe unfired thats a year old. Never think to take it out.

Congrats!! That is one that is on my list, also.

I need to dig one outa the safe and take a picture for you ---- a brand new 1978 Marlin Model 60. Still has the stickers and tags hanging on it. It's an Otasco Diamond Jubilee special edition (actual mod # may be 6060).

Got one of those also bought it new at Otasco in 1978. It's not in anyway mint condition, that 22 has been carried many miles hunting. Was a behind the seat truck gun for about 25 yrs. Still will shoot the eye out of a squirrel at 40 yds with the iron sights. It's a shooter!

It was a good score day! Got 10 Lancer mags locally, got 80 rounds of 556 from Atwoods. (coweta and BA both sold out by now). And while getting 2 of the last boxes at BA Atwoods saw they had Anderson lowers in stock for 49$. Didn't need one, but got it anyway. They said they have 7-8 left if you know anyone looking.

Penrose pawn has them in stock 15$ a piece, they just the translucent ones. They also have Pmags (limited to 2 per day) and some brand of ak mags I'm not familiar with. They still had some when I left.
