Anybody get anything cool that is gun-related today?

On my way to the hunting cabin today, I decided to stop by the local gun shop to see what they had. To my surprise, they had the Hornady 6.8 SPC in 120 gr SST’s that my gun likes so well. I couldn’t find this stuff before the shortage and couldn’t even find the bullets for reloading, so I snatched it up. While I was at it, I bought the last box of 45 that they had. AND... prices were at original levels, not the elevated prices we are seeing everywhere else.

At Academy today to get boot laces and cruised by the boolit section. May have to buy a 450 bushmaster LOL. I did find a box of 123g SST for the Grendel, so not a complete bust............. Oh yes , they had boot laces as well.

Met a member today and picked up this Vertx Ready Pack from him. Awesome bag, fit my ar pistol perfectly as well as a few other things I wanted to load it up with. I did have everything loaded up in my old range bag and this is a lot nicer. Less covered in molle webbing too, just looks like a laptop bag.

Glad that went to a good home. I saw it, and talked myself out of it the night it was posted. Logged on the next day with intent of buying it and you had tagged the thread 43 minutes earlier.
