Find of the freaking month. Was at the gun bar buying a 147$ savage 12 ga (the last one), and a couple buddies of the gun bar guy comes up and gives him a nod. Gun bar guy reaches under the cabinet and breaks open a case of thunderbolts. Gives 3 to his buddy, 3 to the other buddy and then tries to put the rest of the case back under the cabinet. I told him I would take 3 also. He sighed and reluctantly fished them back out and gave me three leaving just one for him. Rang me up for the ammo... 9$ a brick! He said they are clearanced from last year and they just found them in the back. He claimed they were the the last ones.

Also got the only box of bird shot on the shelf. Man it's a great day.

Edit: also got 3 charging handles in the mail today from combat arms. Man it's been a good day!

You win. Lock it up!

I just picked this little PPK from the good folks at Sooner State Pawn. It's a mate to the fancy PPK/S I got about a month ago. I'll post some pics of the new PPK first, with both the black factory grips and a set of custom wooden ones. Please let me know which grips YOU like best on this PPK. Last, I'll post a shot the two of them together. This makes TEN PPK and PPK/S pistols for me now. I have them in every finish and in every caliber. (.22LR, .32 ACP, and .380 ACP)

That’s a beauty. I like the wooden grips better.
