Went to Last in gun show

Every table was full. Mostly dealers, few private sellers.

Seen less than a handful of guns that I would have considered buying. Dealer prices were mostly BEYOND ridiculous.

I came home with nothing

Just picked up 1000 rounds of 38 from @OkieDoke88 , good meeting you man! I’m calling this my “final revolver test kit”…if I go through 1000 rounds with this and still THINK I don’t like revolvers MAYBE I’ll quit buying them😆
Thanks @rockchalk06 for the heads up on this.

Bought three H&K MP-5 mags for $200 shipped for my POF MP-5, and a St. Etienne made walther PPK/S in .380. I guess that will be my James bond gun.
I collect PPK and PPK/S pistols, I have 3 proofed "St. Etienne"... I'm curious if the slide says Manurhin or Walther on it. On the butt of the pistol there should also be a Made in France stamp. Actually, Manurhin made all the parts for the PPK and PPK/S from like 1952 to 1986; the bulk were shipped as parts back to Walther in Ulm, West Germany where they were finished, blued and assembled, which under the German laws of the time allowed Walther to say Made in West Germany on them. The ones assembled in France were normally marked as Manurhins, although some slipped through the cracks and have the St. Etienne proof along with the Made in France on the bottom of the butt but are marked as a Carl Walther PPK or PPK/S....

Sorry for the lecture, you probably knew this anyway, but pics of that PPK/S would sure be nice!

Druryj was kind enough to invite me over to drool over his collection. The man has a top notch ppk and ppk/s collection!
