That was on the GEN 1 guns. GEN 2 they put them back in the traditional locations to account for the crotch-grab / head-tilt used with that shooting technique.

I ordered a carbon fiber tripod and Reaper mount from Kopfjager in Mansfield, TX on Wednesday. Package arrived yesterday. I went with the grip setup instead of the rail so I can also use it with my deer rifle. So far I am very happy with the stability and how smooth it articulates. We will see how it stacks up in the field.
