Looks like the Arsenal mould is more true to the original Keith design - square sided lube groove.

Ol' Elmer didn't like the rounded groove. He didn't think they held enough lube.

I don't have an opinion on that, but the rounded grooves certainly fall out of the mould easier.

That Arsenal mould is a good looking piece of kit !

Agreed!!
My Ideal 429421 drops them right out.
Although, the Arsenal mold did quite well!
Thanks!

Just picked up this S&W Model 64-8. Not a big stainless guy as this is my first stainless steel smith. All my others are blued and older models. First one with a lock as well. (Hillary Hole) It came with those Altamont rosewood grips as shown. I know these models make great shooters and it was too good a deal to pass up.

Amazon was good to me yesterday. I have seen others make grip extenders for SIG P250/320 subcompact magazines, but none of them have been as small yet as effective as these Pachmayr extenders. the best part was they were only $9.39...for a pair! I thought I was buying one and was pleasantly surprised when I found there were two in the package. They were a bit tricky to mount on the magazine due to tight tolerances but they did slide on and I think they are better than the SIG grip extender since they give a bit more "lip" for your pinky to rest on.

When I went to the range recently (the first time after my cataract surgeries last summer,) I discovered I need reading glasses to see the front sight clearly. I had to wear two pair of glasses (a half sized pair of reading glasses under my safety glasses) and didn't know what to do until I checked Amazon and discovered that safety reading glasses were available--so, I picked up a pair:

They work fine for correcting my vision.
