Recently picked up a Triple K mag for a Jimenez JA22. After futzing with it for an hour, I finally got it to barely work. (The pistol works fine with the oem mag btw.)

I'm not buying any more of their mags.

Also, side note.. who in their right mind would not only name a company Triple K, but also hasn't changed that name by now? I mean, the other organization with 3 K's in their name is nothing to aspire after....

They wanted to call it K-Y, but they was told it wouldn't look good.

Picked one up this weekend. From what I've researched (and per a friends knowledge), I think its a Bekeart gun. S/N puts it around 1922 from what I can find. It also came with a black leather holster, with stamp in picture. Pretty cool piece all around, plan to shoot it in a day or two.

I ordered a set of carbide .32 S&W L dies
and SnS powder coated .313 64 gr and 90 gr bullets. Should make for lots of fun with some Trail Boss and Bullseye.

Well here’s what happened

New Year’s Day I was bored and browsing the web. Everything from car parts to rifles etc etc. just wasting time.

At some point I ended up on Buds. Ended up in the reduced price area.
Then it happened. $669 savage hog hunter in 6.5 CM.
Now this is not just any hog hunter nooooooo upon closer inspection and verifying the model number it’s an impulse hog hunter.
Now this is normally listed at $1500 and here it was for $669

After much debate I added it to my cart. Then proceeded to check out. Now I fully expected the order to be canceled. I thought it has to be an mis print.
Well here we are today and guess what landed. Yup.
Off to the FFL to pick it up and fill out the form
So now I am the keeper of a savage impulse hog hunter in 6.5 CM
Optics to come soon
Will mess with it more this weekend.

Anyway here she is.
