The old block was trashed by previous owner, but I have parts from it and an empty engine bay, that is why I have so many options...
If I don't do the GM Crate, I was thinking of getting a short block and building a mild 350 since I have:
Holley 4150
Performer dual plane intake
MSD Billet tach drive
Crane fireball ignition
Edelbrock Performer RPM 70cc Angle plug heads
All ancillary parts (starter, water pump, fuel pump, alternator etc)
Don't get rid of any of the original engine parts even if you drop a complete in it. Box them up and put them back.
