Anyone else getting frustrated getting insurance this year?

I was having a chat with the boss the other day. He had just gone to a meeting and found that premiums will increase at least another 26% Jan 1. The ins companies told him it was to cover all the mandated coverages in Obamacare. This is after I have already had a 72% increase in July. HOLY ANAL OROFICE BUTTMAN! I am starting to think it will be cheaper to pay the penalty tax and do without insurance.

Im glad I am not the only one having to deal with this. Insurance rates have been on a significant rise every year for a long time. It seems like the last 10 years or so it has just been getting out of control. Seems to be everything always goes up except wages.

In order to keep my costs where they previously were (Jan of this year) I had to go to a 15,000 deductible and the first $1,200 of meds. I pay out of pocket.

That really sucks, unless something major happens it's like you paying just to say you have insurance, of course you will be glad to have it if something major does happen. My deductable is $3500 and I hate that because it was $2000 only a couple of years ago for the same money.

I keep hearing how we have the "best medical system in the world", but I really think we have the priciest. I remember the days of low deductibles and $3 prescriptions a decade or so ago.

you might as well not pay it, you wont get any service when you need it anyway, there will be some hoop you didnt jump through just right or some reason you dont qualify for something. especially if your white or repub, whatever. it sure will be nice having only 1 place to offer some B.S insurance. the gov. having 3-5 thousand different company's to choose from would be terrible wouldnt it jb. dem's are mad it didnt go far enough, single payer. competition does nothing to bring down prices i guess. you ever watch parking wars? all the b.s you gotta do just to get your car back, wait till thats a sick member of your family and your getting the run-around from the gov about getting help. going to be some bad sh** happening. thanks obama and your zombie supporters.
