I recently bought another pair of MOAB3 and don't like them near as much as the first two pair of MOABs I had. I may be spoiled to the Keen I've been wearing or the MOAB2 are just better fitting, IDK.

I almost want to wear my Danner RAT boots all the time. They are the most comfortable footwear I own bar none.
I was issued the RAT boots (still have them somewhere) when they first came out for our deployment to Afghanistan and they were alright, at least better than the Bellvilles. Honestly the MOAB has the worst factory insole and if you swap them out for a quality insole they’re awesome, that has been my experience with the pair I have. According to a lot of hiking forums and blogs, hiking boots aren’t meant to be worn with the factory insoles and you’re supposed to swap them out, which makes no sense but whatever.

I live downtown and I've been seeing a lot of gen z men (is that an oxymoron🤔) carrying what look to be fanny packs over their shoulders.

That said, if you have something that looks that overtly tactical you're entirely defeating the purpose of concealed carry. Might as well put a patch on it that says "I gots me a gun in this here bag."

Okay, you manly men can laugh all you want,,,
But I carried a handgun almost every day at work for 16.5 years.

One person (my bestest friend) knew about the gun compartment,,,
But that was only if I ever got drastically ill and had to abandon it in my office,,,
His job was to simply collect the briefcase and get it out of the building before anyone found it.

I worked at a state university and even though there were two situations where I had my hand on my pistol,,,
Nobody in the same room even suspected that I was armed and ready for self defense.

My carry method was a full size briefcase with a concealed (but very easy to access) compartment,,,
All I had to do was use my gun hand to unzip the opening,,,
And I had my hand comfortably on my handgun,,,
Ready to draw.

For a right hand draw this picture is backwards,,,
The gun points to the left instead of the right.

Also, there is no need to open it as much as in this picture,,,
Just the right end unzipped about 6 inches was all that was needed.

I sat in the front row of a lecture hall,,,
While a nut-case went on a psychotic rampage.

The entire three minutes before the campus police showed up,,,
I had my hands on my Bersa Thunder .380.

When the cops showed up I simply removed my hand,,,
No one was the wiser.

So laugh all you want,,,
This "Murse" allowed me to successfully carry a concealed weapon,,,
In a prohibited place for the entire time I was employed until I retired in 2021.

P.S. Murse means man-purse

The older folks around here don’t think that liberals have guns I guess.

Oh no I do not think that at all. I worked with a woman right here in Oklahoma about 15 years ago who told me straight up she owned a gun because she thought one day she may need to use against conservatives . **** you not.

When I was working in the PNW going between Oregon and sometimes Washington I learned about the SRA and John Brown Gun Club. Both groups are raging communist assholes with ties to ANTIFA they post on social media and everywhere else about buying guns and training with them to use them against anyone who doesn't agree with their socialist ( commie ) goals.
