What did he get wrong? Don't leave us hanging like that.

I need to clarify - he omitted the first item, and got the second wrong. The timeline of the ATF’s actions regarding their pistol brace rule was the first; Colion didn’t mention the third letter to SB Tactical “clarifying” the ATF’s original position on pistol braces. That is, pistol braces were fine as in their original letter, after two years of saying they were definitely not OK. The second item was that during the 120 day period this past spring, he said people registering their pistol braces would have to pay a $200 tax stamp, which the ATF had actually waived in an attempt to circumvent the “financial harm” clause that would have weakened their position.

How could you know 100% if it was now okay to buy one if you wanted one? IS there going to be some new letter?

Because the court said the rule was unlawful. So now, it's 100% legal to buy one. Until it isn't. It could go to SCOTUS who could rule in favor of the AFT. Or, the AFT could write a new rule that isn't unlawful...somehow...in some other court's opinion. Or congress could write new legislation.

Bottom line...they're legal now. But that could change over time for a variety of reasons.

Which is just complete BS. Back & forth never ending. I can’t think of a single comparison to help anyone understand this. This is as simple as it gets. What they are doing violates the second amendment to the US Constitution. An amendment the founders thought so vital that it contains only one inalienable right, not several like the 1st and several others in the BoR.

The ATF is a criminal, dog murdering enterprise, and it should be abolished.

I was really hoping this would go further and Apply to SBR's as well as braced pistols. Would be nice to have a front post on an AR Pistol and a real stock. Oh well, the AR's are at the bottom of a lake, a tragic accident, 35.504741, -97.678358 if anyone wants to recover them.
