Love it!
Wow, I love it.Got my aoudad mount back today. Think he came out pretty good. Said I would never shoulder mount one and then ended up shooting this free range monster and kinda had to.

When Matt Carriker bought his abandoned resort, it had sheep on it, and, IIRC, at least one aoudad. He had to get rid of the sheep because they kept getting out on the roads near the resort, so we know there was at least one free range aoudad in the Boerne area. While there many places you can hunt these behind a fence like so many exotics Texas has a large wild free ranging population.
Free range Audads in Oklahoma! Let the hunt begin!Nice ram, congratulations!!!
We have a high fence that borders part of our property. The people who owned it before the current owner brought in some aoudads,4 ewes and 2 rams. They never harvested any but they disappeared and never found any remains. About 8 months ago as we were going to town we were about a mile and a half from the house and we saw one of the rams on the neighbors property outside of the high fence.
Beautiful mount as well. Congrats on the hunt!Nice ram. Killed mine south of Ozona also. It’s some rough country but fun.
