I'm just getting into the AR world, just bought my first. I want learn as much as I can about the rifle and have a reference book to fall back on. Do you have a recommendation for a book on how to carry out caliber mods/changes or additions. Thanks for your help.

A book for general reference on the design and function of the AR-15 is a good idea. However you can also find anything you want to know or learn to do via google and YouTube. That’s what I’ve done.

New stuff comes out so fast, printing a book would be impossible to keep up.
For a basic book go to Ebay or Amazon and look up ar15 manual. The marine corp reprint is an oldie but goodie.
It gets more into the shooting aspects than the army one. Should be less than $15 shipped

I'm new to learning about them too. This is the one I've been using for reference.
