I haven’t shot my 410 pistol in a long time. Does anyone know how they pattern at around 15’ or so?
Judge or Governor
I do not personally. However, I've read that rifling (e.g. for the .45 Long Colt in your case) will affect shot patterns.

IMO, the best thing to do is shoot a test pattern at a large piece of cardboard.

I carry my Judge when out on my 80acre hideout. I alternate 410 and 45 long colt in it as I never know if it's a pygmy rattler or a wild boar I'll have to deal with.....usually the snake. I have found that I need to be with in 8-10' for the 410 pattern to be counted on.

Pistol w/ tac lite, but a shotgun w/ bird shot and a sling makes for a good secondary inside a house. I like the ear muff idea but has there ever been a case where they AMPLIFIED a gunshot? That's what has always made me nervous about those.
