Are hunters modern-day pariahs, or what?

I put up my pig hunt result pictures a few weeks back onto my facebook page (where my friend harvested a pig).

I have 167 FB friends, many of whom regularly comment on my posts. In several weeks, I have gotten not a single comment or a single "like" on the hunt pics.

You'd think that posting about hunting, I may as well have been posting "Hey I'm actually the Zodiac Killer."



Oh wait, I just remembered - they get their meat at the grocery store, where nothing has to be killed to provide them meat. The animals just walk into the back room of the grocery store, and fall asleep, never to wake up.

You need to get your hunting buddies on your FB account. I get plenty of comments and likes on mine.

Every time I post a picture of something I've killed, or talk about going hunting or shooting on FB I get a lot of comments about how "redneck" I am, or about how I'm the only "chick hunter" that my friends know. When I got my deer last fall I had a bunch of comments like "oh, poor Bambi!" lol
