Army and Marine benefits cut

Maybe I'm a little behind, but I just read that the Army and Marine Corps have suspended enrollment in the tuition assistance program for "the duration of the current fiscal situation". This is only the beginning of benefit cuts due to sequestration. How long until the Navy and AF follow suit? How long until our all volunteer force is hollow?

Obama is ordering this done. He's trying to garner public support against the GOP. He's ordering all of the federal agencies to make cuts that affect the public, even tho they can make cuts that don't.

It also shows what the House leadership thinks of our people in the military. Everybody signed-up for it. 20% across the board. The Republicans signed-up for it and here it is.

Congress isn't choosing where those cuts are made, the administration is. You can't tell me there is no government waste that could be cut instead of making the most outrageous and public cuts possible.

It comes as no surprise to me. Every democrat presnit since I've been old enough to pay attention has downsized our military. Clinton didn't stop there as he also set our CIA back a good 20 years and probably more. Obammy's only towing the party line...
