UVerse is a scam. I have had tons of problems with it. When we moved it was the only thing available. They said it would be faster than our dsl but what a crock that is. It's a lot slower and it will disconnect whenever it damn well pleases. I have to reset the router constantly and sometimes even have to reboot the computer and delete the connection just to get it to connect. The tech's these people hire are no help either. They give me the runaround every time. If we had a better option i would go for it but the only other option is cable one internet and it is even worse than this stuff.

We love our Uverse in Mississippi. Our version of Cox has all the issues, Uverse was less money, with networked DVRs and all the goodies. Couldn't be happier. We did have one issue where signal was dropping out. I got online and went through the reset stuff and go on chat with someone at HQ. Anyway, they figured out it was a 'them' issue and sent someone out that day, on a sunday, to test the lines leading to the house. They found a short in the line two houses down and fixed it that day.

250 gb is a lot. I deal in high res photos all day and have never come close to maxing out our usage, even with movies and all the other things that go along with it.

I actually liked the internet and television but have a problem and see how wonderful their service department is, I had Uverse for 3 years.

I fired them in 2011 not just the tv and internet but I ate the early out fees on my cell service as well they made me so mad.

I had some salesperson darken my door step the other day. I think I made her cry.

We had u-verse for about 5-6 years .We moved between Moore and Norman this year. Only option was Cox. That is who we have now.

I lked u-verse better, but it is not available here yet. Thought about switching to Direct TV.

I have had Uverse for a couple of years now without any issues. Phone, internet, HDtv all are good. Have had Cox and Directv in the past, and had several issues with them, especially lack of customer service.

Its not so much as 250GB limit on usage, as they reserve the right to knock ur speeds down if you go over 250GB. Usually you have to do it several months in a row before they take action. They are mainly trying to protect themselves against people setting up servers in their houses, and paying for a residential connection, instead of a business connection. If you are using that much consistently, you are probably causing bandwidth issues for other customers in your area.
It is a policy that is there if they need it, but not something that is usually enforced to the letter.
