Just got notice my Banish 30 has been approved. Just days short of 1 year.

Purchased it on 2 Feb 2022

Still don't have it in my hand yet. More hoops to jump through. Notify the Sheriff, wait for his certified acknowledgement of the notification. Wait 7 more days before shipping after that.

Sheesh.
Thought they dropped that…
I was told it was approved and it was ready for me to pick up on the same day. Prob took days to notify me.

EForms are currently averaging 260-270 day wait. I’m on day 220 for my RC2. Early on it was 90 days, but when the news got out that it was that fast, the ATF couldn’t handle the influx of volume they received. Sorry man, but at least you got the process started.
My first eForm was approved at 88 days. Second was at 264.

So am I missing something else here. Purchased a can Jan 23rd 2023. Was told the form to transfer to an SOT dealer would be 6-10 days. 14 days later still nothing. After say the transfer happens, then what another x amount of days to get approved and another timer starts? Once my FFL receives it I wait again? Been through the silencer shop kiosk, got fingerprints on paper as well as digital. Now what I guess I'll physically own it in 2025??? Is there a place to go and learn and get educated on this? Seems like a dog and pony show just to exercise my 2A. I've got patience but wow just wow.

I think you will take physical possession roughly 10 months after the digital paperwork is turned in. The suppressor itself is probably transferred to the FFL relatively quickly, but it doesn't matter to you. You can't take possession until .Gov says you can.

On my first one, it took 92 days from winning the can on GB (won't do that again but it was $200 under everyone else's prices) before I could mail in the paperwork. The seller sucked, and took forever to begin the form 3 or whatever it is your dealer has to do.
The second time, on e-file, I hit Buy Now on Silencershop April 1st, and we efiled May 10th. It could have been sooner, but I waited until a Saturday. It really just depends on where you buy and where it's going.
You don't have to do any of the pre-waiting if your FFL has the specific silencer in physical stock in Oklahoma.
Like, if you go to h&h, and you say "I want that one", they'll probably pull one from the back and you file right then and there using the kiosk.
Correct me if I'm wrong
