FYI, the removal of the requirement for handguns to be limited to home-state receipt was one of the items recommended by BATFE in 2015 as part of a package to simplify and recognize the reality of the insta-check system to operate anywhere, but the proposal was squashed by Holder, and it has also never been taken up by congress. Given the chaos in congress now, it seems unlikely to come up any time soon. That's a real shame, because it would now be supported by the administration and signed by the President. The frantic lib drive to paralyze the government is to some extent working, much to our detriment.

Sorry, Guys. I usually catch those dates, but not this time.

So, based on that first link that was posted showing the status of the bill, does that mean that the ruling by the Texas judge is still before the appellate court? If so, we may still have some hope.
