I had a little 2 person boat years ago. If I remember one floated pretty low in the water(mine), and another brand floated high.

I sold mine after getting swamped a couple of times with bigger boats coming by and not watching their wakes, or just not giving a crap.

Mines not a "buster". Just a big ol hunk of molded Styrofoam with rhinoliner sprayed on it. Sits high and has a 600+ lb rating. It cannot be swamped or sunk.

I use it twice a year for pond hopping tournaments.

The pelican that academy sells seems cheaper made than what my mom has. She bought hers new in enid 2-3 years ago.

My wife bought be an 8 ft 2 man Pelican "Bass Buggy" from Academy 7 or 8 years ago. That thing has been a tank, sits up nice in the water, I have a trolling motor on it and use it at my farm ponds, I have no complaints about it.
