My future son in law came up with this bayonet. Wondering if anyone can give me some info on it? What is it exactly? Age? Value?

Its an Australian 1907 bayonet made 7-1942 by the Australian Small Arms factory/ Lithgow (MA) at the Orange Arsenal (OA). The X means it passed the bend test. The broadhead arrow /I\ indicates it was government property. The number on the pommel is the rack/ serial number of the rifle the bayonet was issued with and the “C” means cancelled.

Assuming it has the issued scabbard you could probably get anywhere from $100-350 depending on the buyer and market.
