Beans in chili, where do you stand?

Only a 3 legged yankee dog in love with the smell of their own flatulence
would ruin chili by putting <are you crazy> beans in it.

Now - there ain't a whole lot of things better than a pot'o pintos made with ham or salt pork and jalapenos poured over a big ole steamin' hunk o' cornbread. Yummm, yummm, good. But just 'cuz they're good in other things don't mean beans belong in chili! THEY DON'T!

My wife makes no-bean chili. When I make chili,.. I put beans in. Either I get chili made for me or I make the chili I like. Either way I win !!!

The best is my mother-in-law's chili spaghetti,... dang that is gooood.

Ahhh, but the judges generally like beans if your from the Midwest to the northeast. Puréed beans used as a "thickener", will win it for ya.
