[The initial “official” response to the Benghazi attack was to place blame on the video The Innocence of Muslims, and by asserting that the attack was the product of a spontaneous protest in Benghazi. The nature of the attack proves otherwise, and the adherence to that story is now exposing the foreknowledge and complicity of those parroting that account. The attack was preplanned, was directed at a CIA operational post which was looted of all documents and materials before being destroyed by the attackers. Simply put, it was a professional “hit.”

The issue of the “security failures” is also a bit of a lie. True, a security problem existed in Tripoli, not Benghazi, where “official” personnel were deliberately kept at a minimum to maintain operational security. To divert discussion to the issue of security of our diplomatic personnel is to intentionally divert attention away from the events taking place in Benghazi...

The amount of weapons is staggering. It is estimated that within the last year, between 30-40 million pounds of weapons were transported out of Libya. Considering that the U.S. and the intelligence agencies have had 24/7 surveillance over every inch of Libya, can anyone of reasonable sensibilities really contend that the U.S. was not aware of exactly who was smuggling weapons from Libya, if not directly involved in that activity?

Furthermore, the brave men who died in the attacks were not part of Steven’s security detail. They were working under the direction of the State Department, ostensibly for the purpose of searching and destroying weapons left by the deposed Qaddafi...

Thursday on the Glenn Beck Program, Glenn interviewed Charles Woods whose son Tyrone Woods, a former Navy SEAL, was killed during the attacks on the Libyan embassy in Benghazi. The interview is one of the first he had done since his son’s death. During his talk with Glenn, he revealed the shocking details of his meetings with President Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. According to Woods, none of our country’s leaders were empathetic with his situation, nor were they honest about what really happened to his son. And it has only been through his personal faith that he has remained centered and calm through this tragedy.

When he joined the program, Woods explained that he had been a fan of Glenn’s radio show, but hadn’t listened for several months. The other day he happened to tune in and heard Glenn reviewing the available intelligence that the White House had access to in regards to the attack, as well as the evidence that the administration did not do all they could have done to rescue the four Americans killed. Woods decided he needed to speak up. He first called into Glenn’s program but could not get through, and so he tried Lars Larson where he first told his story.

In the interview with Glenn, Woods detailed his encounters with the top members of the Obama administration, including the President himself.

“I’m a retired attorney for six years I was an administrative law judge and in the several thousands cases I heard my job was to tell who was telling the truth and who wasn’t,” Woods explained. “There were four pods at Andrews Air Force Base and when he (Obama) came over to where we were I could tell he was very conflicted person who was not at peace with himself. Shaking hands with him quite frankly was like shaking hands with a dead fish. His face was pointed towards me but he would not look me in the eye. His eyes were over my shoulder and not in a forceful voice said ‘I’m really sorry Mr. Woods.’”

“And I could tell he was not sorry. He had no remorse,” Woods continued.

“The Vice President was also there,” Woods explained. “He said ‘I’m Joe Biden’. He said he had received one of these ‘damn phone calls’ when he had lost a family member. And then about a half hour later he approached me and said – and these are the exact words he said I don’t speak like this – quote and in an extremely loud and boisterous voice he said: ‘Did your sons always have balls the size of cueballs?’”

“I will ask you the question: Is that the voice of someone who is truly sorry?” Woods asked Glenn.

Glenn was most taken aback by the story of what Hillary Clinton told Woods. For over a week, the White House has been trying to push the narrative that President Obama said from the beginning that the attack on the embassy was a terrorist attack, not the a protest that got out of hand . But Clinton’s statements to Woods conflicted with that statement.

Woods explained, “I do appreciate her taking the time from her schedule to meet with the four families. While we were in the pod over there with our family she came over shook my hand and I reached out and hugged her shoulder. Her countenance was not good. And she made the statement to me that first of all she was sorry and then she said ‘We will make sure the person who made that film is arrested and prosecuted.’ ”

Clinton was referring to a controversial YouTube film that the Obama administration claimed inspired the “spontaneous protests” that led to the attacks.

“And when she said that I could tell that she was not telling me the truth. She’s more intelligent than I am, and she had to also know she was not telling me the truth.”

After describing his encounters with the members of the Obama administration, Woods expressed frustration with the lack of transparency on what really happened in Libya.

“I’m totally transparent in my life. I have nothing to hide. Why are they not transparent?” he said.

Originally, Woods and the rest of the families of those killed had decided they would not release a statement regarding the incident. However, after speaking with his wife Woods decided it would be best to put his feelings on paper and vocalize his thoughts.

Woods wrote:

I want to honor my son, Ty Woods, who responded to the cries for help and voluntarily sacrificed his life to protect the lives of other Americans. In the last few days it has become public knowledge that within minutes of the first bullet being fired the White House knew that these heroes would be slaughtered if immediate air support was denied. Apparently C-130s wer ready to repsond immediately. In less than an hour the perimeters could have been secured and American lives could have been saved.

After seven hours of fighting numerically superior forces, my son’s life was sacrificed because of the White House’s decision.

This has nothing to do with politics. This has to do with integrity and honor. My son was a true American hero. We need more heroes today. My son showed moral courage.

This is an opportunity for the person or persons who made the decision to sacrifice my son’s life to stand up.

Woods told Glenn and TheBlaze audience that his sense of peace after the loss of his son was tied to his faith. It had only been through God, faith, and prayer that he had remained calm and centered through this tragedy.

“The only thing I want is to hug my son Ty in Heaven. At this point I know where he’s at, I just need to make sure I am there as well. And that means I have to extend total forgiveness to everyone,” Woods said.

The biggest stench is that it is beginning to look like Obama went nighty-night to rest up for Las Vegas, instead of seeing the crisis through and (had he been awake) ordering a rescue mission.

In Behghazi, after 6-8 hours in a few “Fort Apaches” with running street battles between, like a mini Blackhawk Down, the living Americans must have been thinking, “Any minute now, here come the helicopters.”

But they didn’t. So even though Delta had forward staged to Sigonella Sicily (rumint) from base in Germany, nobody was willing or able to pull the trigger and send a rescue force. Or even a few F-18 supersonic flybys, to bust windows and warn, “Here comes American airpower, and you camel jockeys know what that means.” Just as a morale booster it would have helped the besieged staffers.

But it was never sent, not even a lousy supersonic low-level flyby.

Here is the deal. The military automatically does a lot on its own, under standing orders and SOPs. The minute they see that the consulate is under attack, and the ambassador and others are in a "safe room" hiding, it becomes TOP priority. Every other mission aborts or slaves over to support any possible rescue.

At that moment when the alarm messages come in, things happen on autopilot in real time. Everybody in the Navy and USAF chain of command swings into a crisis contingency plan mode. What ships are closest? Helicopters? Marines? Delta is in Germany? Get them moving right now. Where is closest? Sigonella, for now. It’s NATO, no permission needed, just fly. En route in C-17s, the D-boys would even be prepping for an immediate action raid, that is, the C-17s will fly directly to some desert road outside of Benghazi, and here comes “The Raid On Entebbe,” crisis mode, canned actions, but they would do it. If they were ordered to. They would coordinate with fighters out of Italy, mid-air-refueling platforms start shifting, it's a huge show that swings into action for thousands of miles around Behghazi. The ongoing consulate attack is JOB ONE, the only job. VIPs will be tossed off of planes at remote runways if they need that platform.

Or Marines on amphib ships in the central Med, if any were available, would also be put on the real-time options board. We used to have a "Amphibious Ready Group" of about 3-5 USN gator freighters, including a helo carrier like a Tarawa class. They carry an entire battalion of USMC, plus SEALs etc, with helos and Ospreys to carry them all. (But not at once.) Where was our ARG? Does our Navy have enough ships for that mission any more?

But while all of that military staging would have happened/did happen during the battle at the consulate, what they cannot do on their own say-so is cross an international border without an order from the NCA, the National Command Authority, and that means POTUS, Obama.

Only POTUS can authorize a cross-border hostile mission. That is, guns clear, no official permission from the Tripoli govt (if it really exists outside State Dept fantasies.)

Only one man can pull that trigger and say, "GO!" Obama.

(But for America to act "unilaterally" would have meant the bogus Libyan Arab Spring and so-called new govt. that we were propping up didn’t really exist. Libyan sovereignty must be held sacrosanct, even the false image of one, where in reality, Al Queda is top dog in Libya. Even when an Al Queda offshoot is your external "security," namely, "The 17th of February Martyrs Brigade." (IOW, the White House thought they had a "deal" with AQ in Behghazi, since we were helping to run weaponry from Libya to their pals in Syria. So there was an "institutional bias" at State against crossing the border on a rescue operation sin permisso.)

Anyway, be that as it may, no General or Admiral will order the Marines ashore, or a Delta raid or even an F-18 low-level supersonic flyby. They can not and will not cross a border without an order from POTUS via the NCA. Not even Hillary can make that decision. Only Obama.

But no order came, as of midnight in DC. And then none would come. Because the POTUS retired for the night with a “do not disturb” sign on his door, punted, and went to bed, to be well rested for Las Vegas.

While his ambassador was off the U.S. radar, missing, at that moment possibly being dragged down a Benghazi street or even raped. But that is when Obama went to bed. Midnight in DC is 0600 in Beghazi.

That is the greatest scandal of Benghazi. The POTUS slept through it, while all around the world, military forces were poised for the Raid on Entebbe or any other damn thing the POTUS ordered them to do. (And the were raring to go, believe me.)

But the POTUS said, “We’ll discuss it further in the morning,” and then he went to bed around midnight in DC, 0600 in Benghazi, with a missing ambassador and a crisis in full mega flap process.

He punted. He went to bed.

God help us. I think that’s the big secret they are keeping. The President went to bed, with his lost Ambassador being dragged through streets.

Obama went to bed.

I'm in the same frame of mind with Shadowrider. These people need to be procecuted, convicted and sentenced. Its a shame that the people that call themselves the leaders of our country have to resort to lies, and deception to stay in office.
It won't be but 12 days and the bafoons will be out of office, and possibly get procecuted by the new attorney general. They might be able to tie that in with fast and furious, for additional charges.

Perhaps being conspiratorial myself here, but the two former Seals were in Libya looking for weapons, so I'm wondering about the true source of those weapons. Why would Americans with the state department (or any other government agency) be so concerned about the whereabouts of weapons? Supposedly, those weapons were "looted" from Quadafi's stores, but since our current administration has stated that they would "just be observers" in the Middle East, could it be that their support for the Arab Spring included the supply of weapons to the Libyan rebels? After all, it is "supposed" that the ambassador was helping supply weapons to the Syrian rebels.

I have no link, but I'll look tomorrow, but from what I understand there was another compound that was attacked as well.
It contained some folks with an agency that were looking to follow the weapons trail of the tons that were floating around the country. Why, I don't know.

I'm not saying that it is so, but it sure appears that Obama might have his own little Iran-Contra going on. If Benghazi was that damn dangerous why in the hell was our Ambassador there? Seems to be common knowledge that he was quite well connected with the rebels, so I hypothesize that SOMETHING was afoot. What that is is anyone's guess. Even the Red Cross had beat feet out of there. Why was he there?

But this whole deal, just like Fast & Furious fails the "smell test" miserably. You could almost read Hillary's mind by her demeanor when she was blaming the video. She looked extremely disgusted that she had got herself involved in such a lame excuse of a coverup and seemed embarrassed to be associated with the dimwit amateur calling the shots. It was like she knew that she was going to end up being the scapegoat and was in shock at the whole deal.
