Both my 1960's Glenfield M75 and my newish 10/22 chew through the Wal-Mart Federal bulk pack mostly without problems. The old 75 jam's on just about anything, but thats because i've been plinking and hunting with it since I was old enough to hold it up, and my grandpa 20 years before that. Need to get the updated feed throat.
My 10/22 and my Walther both love the federal, but my 513T likes the Golden bullet by remington.
trip to the sand spring gun club today...... trying out my new Ruger MK II. fed 250+ remington gold LR from a walmart 550 pak.
had 13 fail to fire bullets... making a total of 20 duds so far from this 550 pak. and I've got another 200 to fire yet.
stopped at walmart in SS on the way back... told them about all the duds.... they really couldn't/wouldn't do anything about it. the guy at walmart said to write a letter to Remington.

^thats why i shoot federals, ive probly shot 10 0r 15 thousand in the past few years and cant ever remeber a FTF, thats in 22/45's several 10/22's savages, revolvers, ect...
I have sent a huge amount of federal downrange, its all I will buy.
