Putting a bipod on a dpms lr308 quad rail with sling stud. Need to know 6-9 inch or 9-13 inch. All replies appreciated

What are you going to use the rifle for? If you're going to be in tall grass, then a longer bipod would be the way to go, but I've yet to find a place that I couldn't make my 6-9" work (then again, I've got the advantage of setting up on the high-ground when I hunt).

If you're going to be on mowed grass, a hill-top, or bench-top, then you shouldn't have any issues with the 6-9".
