blueberries do great here, there is a blueberry farm not to far from where I live. I want to try and grow some!

They should do fine. I have been surprised by Gurneys shipping policies in the past, they generally ship around the time to plant. Don't expect them right away if you are a green/hot house grower.

How many bushes would you need for a decent yield I wonder?

thinking about planting some berries around the house, was thinking of blackberries though.

I think you'd have better luck with blackberries. Blueberries do need some shade and a lot more water. At least that's been my experience.

Well, mine came in two days ago. Put them in a pot today. We will see.

I seem to excel at plantocide so we will see if I can keep these alive!!
