I just went to order a few more boxes of ammo and it is now 8.00 a box more than it was 2 months ago.

That much of an increase is probably your retailer. The mfrs have not had that much of an increase unless you are shooting some high end cartridge like 50BMG or a Lapua Magnum.

That was posted closer to Christmas.

The ammo prices are settling down a bit.

25-06 back in august it was 24.95 a box now the same box of ammo is 32.95
