Boycott Dicks sporting goods

Well I am getting a screwing from Dick's. I ordered 3 of thier troy rifles, they sent me a letter with a $100 dollar gift card stating the rifles will not be delivered and refunds will be given. This is where it gets bad. I used thier credit card to get 10% off. Paid the full balance of over $2300 off. Now they say they can not send refund check they will credit the account. Well needless to say I do not need 2k worth of thier ****.
Dicks credit card is issued through mastercard. I called them and of course no credit yet but they stated it would take a minimum of 60 days to refund my money and I would have to file a despute. :finger: Dick's

FWIW, Dicks pulled the rifles but still has a rack with a few AR accessories. Nothing really marked down for quick sale though.

Troy Defense chose Dick's as their sole distributor of their modern sporting rifles. Boy, did they get the big green weenie from Dick's. Anyone want to take bets that some prick CEO at Dick's will sell all the unsold rifles at double, triple, quadruple(quadrubel for all the lib socialist forum members) , etc. the price they were charging in the store and then pocket the profits for himself/herself?

I was pretty ticked when I got my screw you letter and $100 gc. But then I only ordered one rifle and talked to the cc folks and got 0% apr or 12 months. So that money was going to just sit on the card for 11 months anyhow. If I had paid it off I would have been doubly ticked.

As much as people are complaining, I don't really see us getting much more than that stupid gc. But dick's has and will get bad press from this and they will suffer (somewhat) from it. I hope someone loses their job from this fiasco.

Not only will I not buy anything from Dicks, I will only enter the store to use the bathroom. When I do use the bathroom, I will always use extra toilet paper and I will flush 3 extra times. After that I will use extra soap to wash my hands and them I will use the hand drier twice and then use paper towels. I WILL bankrupt them with my wasteful bathroom habits. That is all.

i personally work at dicks on rockwell. believe me no one in the lodge not even in my store agrees with corporate all of us have AR's the fact is boycoting us will do nothing we are trying to get people to write corporate to lift the sales ban. we are very passionate about our guns at our store and very disappointed about what has happened unfortunately we as a staff cant change it though we need the customers (you guys) to get to corporate.

I didn't like the company as soon as I found out they do not sell handguns in any of their stores per corporate policy. They either don't give a damn about the 2nd amendment, caved into PC or their lawyers, or make a political statement. The company will not get any of my business. Their is a boycott Dick's Sporting Goods page on Facebook if any of you kids are interested.
