I just love the guys that come out to OKCGC during the 3 gun and USPSA matches to pick up our brass while we are shooting. We absolutely love that we don't have a chance to pick it up.

Yes. The people picking up brass during the matches that aren't even shooting are getting a little annoying.

The next guy that starts picking up my brass while im still shooting @ banner rd range is going to get slapped across the face with my wang. Seriosly wtf :pissed:

I think we are probably all talking about the same guy at Banner Rd. Before I left, I asked him if he was raising an army... he just gave me a dumb look and said, "I'm just bored and this is a good way to pass time"

Whichever range I go to I always pick up my brass. I don't reload (at the moment) but I feel like it's mine to dispose of how I want. I've had situations where people around me will see me picking it up and sweep all of theirs my way which is nice but I don't go out of my way to grab others. Except that if I am at a range like 2a where a good chunk of the brass is going downrange into "no go" zone then I don't mind grabbing a corresponding amount from behind the line.

Now I know why there is so little brass when I go looking for it. :D :D

This is wrong on many levels and should be against the rules. I freely admit to being a BRS (Brass Recycling Specialist :D ) but I have certain rules I go by that I feel are very important.

1) Who ever fired the brass should have the right to it. They paid for it, it is theirs if they want it. If they leave for the day without it, only then is it is fair game.
2) No picking up brass during the shooting day. You get in the way of the shooters and could become a safety issue. Plus there is less risk of some drunken fool going "Look it's a moose, shoot it!!!"
3) Since you are out there picking stuff up, you might as well pick up any trash laying around while your at it. Leave the club better looking then you found it.
4) If your one of those that dig in the trash cans for brass or are just throwing something away and you see the trash can is full, empty it. Again, leave the club better looking then you found it. This is harder on the action shooting side because the dumpsters are often full but if possible you should.

Maybe it is because I have a sign on my door that says I will pay $5 a pound for brass.
I do not buy 22's or 25's though so those nuts must be going to the $2 scrap yards.
