CZ designs their 527 carbines for shooting any 223, including steel-cased Eastern bloc stuff. Or so they say. That's all I've ever shot in mine, and it seems to work fine.

There is an app for your mobile phone. For Apple phones, it's GoOutdoorsOk in the app store. Not sure on the android, but there is an app available for android.
