This is why noone touches my cars.

This.

I saved up to $10K by replacing a "cracked piston" myself rather than use the dealership that diagnosed it. When I tore the motor down myself, lo and behold there wasn't a cracked piston. That makes me 9/10 on getting burned by mechanics. (The one that didn't burn me is a member here that helped me with my wife's Mini, and even showed me a few tricks to make life easier working on that car.)

or how maybe he burnt the clutch up cause he bought a car he doesnt know how to drive and is trying to get the dealership to pay for a new one. Maybe they drove it a little hard, I ll agree to that, but they weren't beating the **** out of it either. Not enough to smoke a clutch

This is a problem with the dealer, not the car or Chevrolet, this guy can call whoever he wants for a rant session but I dont think he should be mad at Chevrolet. The car is 3 years old with 38,000 miles on it and he is wanting a brand new car because of a 20 min test drive? Also he said they took a 20 minute test drive but released less than 1 minute of audio from the actual test drive, this seems strange.

I do agree with him that they abused his car and that should account for something. Maybe the dealer should replace the clutch and maybe the rear tires.

I think making them buy the car back is probably a bit over the top. Replacing the clutch with a Exedy twin disk and adding a supercharger kit of my choice would probably make me happy. Potentially 4 new tires as well, you know, since the rears are so much more worn than the fronts now.
