Campus security or Campus police? Even most of the community colleges in the OKC area have an actual police force.

Don't give Campus POLICE a hard time. Everyone and their mothers think Campus Police are security guards. Sure, some of them probably don't need to be police officers, much like officers from almost every department in the USA. They are working and trying for the most part and are at least in the field. Sometimes it's more to receive a paycheck then it is the field, even then, I know for a fact Campus Police don't get paid worth a ****.

I started out as a Campus Police Officer and was being paid 19k a year to be looked down on as a, what an OSA member stated, "wannabe" LEO. I was certified, commissioned and carried a gun and would run towards gunfire for 19k a year, so because some peoples standards may be lower than mine, give them a little break and at least the bit of respect they deserve.

Don't like what I have to say? Go become a Campus Police for a few months and you'll have a different perspective on the field.

I wasn't trying to knock campus police or the woman personally, just more of an observation of how she was equipped. You would think with what we pay for school they could at least give them a decent belt, a good holster and a radio. And I don't want to give names but we'll just say its a community college in the Tulsa area.

Certainly no personal offense intended mate. I had a good four years experience with campus police, and I was just stating an personal opinion based on my experience. I guess I could have elaborated a little to shed more light on it. My bad. I simply wanted to imply campus police are the rape whistles of law enforcement.
