I stopped at the big gun shop in Shawnee once while travelling through on i-40, can't recall the name of it but think it was on the SW side of town? Anyways, the civilian version of the 249 was just hitting shelves, and they had one sitting there on display. The kid behind the counter barely looked 16, and fumbled with it trying to "clear" it before letting me check it out. I finally showed him how to clear it, and did a partial breakdown, which I think amazed him. I was thinking, I was packing one of these around before he got to Kindergarten probably
