I took out a diller last night with the FN-502 pistol suppressed and red dot. Haven't zeroed it yet but evidently close as it limped under a building.
I smelled it today when walking by, so it's evidently a causality.
The one last night fell victim to the supressed AP5 and tonight's to the supressed WInchester Wildcat. They sure make a satisfying thump when hit.

I went down to visit a friend in Waco this weekend and we got a chance to go to the range. I took my suppressed 300 blackout and let him shoot it. Now he wants one of his own. I shot 5 rounds through his Marlin 45-70 and while it was cool, that was definitely enough. 😁 😁

Went with my father this morning and I'm happy to report the target is dead.

I got to shoot yesterday.
.223 axis that I cut the barrel shorter on.
2 shots. First shot was from dirty cold bore that has sat at least 2 months in the closet.
Friend shot his .223 also.
2 shots from that one .
Just need to see if the first shot hits where you aim and be nice if the second shot comes close to that.

His ammo was store ammo. Not bad at all.
His is a Short barrel Rem 700 with suppressor.
Sitting on a tripod chair and using 55 gallon steel barrel for a rest and a feed sack with sand in it for a front rest. No rear rest.

That’ll definitely do just fine. :thumb:

Yesterday afternoon for me.

Last Event of its kind (known as the HappenZ hosted by Wind) after more than a decade of gathering at the U-Pick. Wind left us about six years ago but we’ve continued to meet at his place with the blessing of his sister, Jane, who passed last month, so the place will be sold.

Wind’s influence was significant and a lot of the two dozen or so shooters who met here over the years have made ripples in the competitive shooting world.

It was a terrific run. There will no doubt be a few more videos that find their way to the “Sagebrush Longshots” channel in the months to come.
