I went ahead and ordered a few thousand rounds and will probably end up getting some more. I was starting to inch down to my minimum stock threshold anyway.

The girlfriend has been enjoying shooting and wants to go quite a bit. I told her she needs to buy a pistol and a rifle for herself and buy her own ammo haha.

Im betting all ammo related stuff will continue to drop - and drop like a rock when trump gets elected and the two wars stop - pretty much everything is available today and getting better by the day

Looks like ammo will be going up again long term, China is restricting the export of antimony and guncotton. We apparently have been getting over half of what we use from them, so civilian ammo is going to suffer. I saw this a few days ago, but didn't see anything posted yet, so I thought I would.

Nitrocellulose production probably won't be a problem, as the primary raw material is wood, and the production process is pretty simple. I expect that production could be shifted to domestic plants that process wood.

Yeah, I had just stocked up on 9mm and went ahead and ordered another case of 5.56. With what I have, I should be good for quite a while at the rate I'm shooting.

I think demand is finally starting to drop with everything else costing so much. Lots of sticker shock on insurance renewals and other cost of goods/services. Other than after ammo runs that inflate the price of ammo end, I can't remember ammo ever getting cheaper over time. It's almost a certainty that ammo in 5 years will be higher than it is now. If you have the money and space, I would pick up a little extra along the way.

I don't own a 9 mm and rarely shoot 5.56 or .308 so I'm still waiting for other calibers in the right loads to be on the shelf.
