He also has a lot of unconfirmed kills. But then the others do too most likely? Wasn't it Hathcock and Land that took out most of a whole NVA company they had pinned down in a paddy? I think it might be because of the sensationalism in a lot of his missions.

I saw a bio on Charles B. Mawhinney on TV.I believe 20+ of his kills came when he stopped a co. of VC trying to cross a river.He most definitely saved the lives of many of his fellow soldiers. Steve
