i hope there might be a “legal beagle” here who could provide some knowledgeable advice. My polling place for voting is not in a school, church, or other place where it would be illegal to carry a concealed firearm. Is it legal to carry there? This is the first election since I got my CCW license. For the primaries, I just locked my pistol in the car, but on Election Day, I have a feeling that the left is going to try to disrupt things. I don’t like the idea of having to stand in line for two or more hours waiting to vote unarmed with some AntiFa types hanging around. What is the state law on this? Anybody know?

The way I look at it is a polling place, church, school, post office, or Popeyes fried chicken, Concealed is Concealed.. Better to have a not need than to need and not have. just my 2 cents..
It doesn't matter where it is held. If the building is being used for a governmental purpose of meeting with the public , you can't carry in it.
Lock it in your trunk and go vote. You’ll be safe

It takes me 10 minutes to vote on a busy Election Day. I can go unarmed for 10 minutes to avoid a bunch of legal trouble.

Just park as close to the door as you can. That way, you won't have far to go to rearm yourself.

What kind of place do you have to wait 2 hours or more to vote? 2016 only waited about 10 minutes. 2018 breezed straight in and straight out.
