Once upon a time, I had an OLD Taurus model 92. It was the model before the decocker, so you could go cocked and semi locked with it (no grip safety).

I gave like three bills for it and it ate anything and everything I fed it.

I've looked at Tauruses but I found out if I was pateint enough, I could find a gun that I trusted for about the same price. For example I picked up a S & W model 66 (4" brl) for $300 and a model 19 (2 3/4" brl) for $350.

cheapest was a bersa thunder 380. gave $120 and sold with some ammo for $450. sold it in thirty minutes after the ad came out in the paper. he drove 45 minutes to get it.

I have four. First up is a Nagant revolver, a nice piece of 19th century technology. 100.00

Well, my P22 was considerably cheaper back when I bought it than they are now. I think I paid $285 for both the short and long barrel, and two mags. I've loved every moment of it.
