So many times using that vintage gear in Boy Scouts, trying not to freeze in duck blind or deer stand. So many awesome meals cooked, tracking deer blood trail by Coleman lantern, Coleman lantern kept us warm and lighted in ice storm and after tornado we did injured victim rescue and even heated coffee water in a coffee can suspended above a lantern
I now have a dual fuel single burner Coleman Peak 1 stove and a dual fuel lantern. Important gear has been real value for $ spent

I've got a couple stoves, and a couple lanterns.

The lanterns are the older single-mantle models.

One of them I converted to run on kerosene.

I've also got some wick-style kero lanterns. I prefer using them whilst camping; more of a soft light rather then the glare of the pressure lamp.

When I was a kid,we made safety brackets to hang a couple those lanterns off of the bass boat.

Have 2 single mantel (1 I fished out of Keystone lake about 40 years ago cleaned up and works perfectly) 3 single burner and 2-2 burner stoves

I love the Coleman stoves and lanterns. Used them for the 20 years I hunted with my FIL at his deer lease.
