You can refill those little green propane bottles. A lot of campers and RV people do.
If you have a propane tank on your property (for the purpose of heating the house and running a stove/heater/etc, you can buy an adapter and hose/fitting for a few bucks.
I you don't have a big propane tank this won't work for you.
