Looks lightweight for sure. I am now on the hunt for a Red, Brown and I guess silver lantern to go with my old Green one!
If you get a brown one try to make sure it is a 275a and not the 275. The 275 had a Schrader valve that would fail .

There are replacement Schrader's available for them but a pain to change. The brown ones are know as a (turd) in the collectors circle.

These were my late father’s, I keep them tuned and fueled for whatever happens. I love the sound they make when burning, takes me back to camping with dad……

I have 7 lanterns.
The "big hat" on the left, I have, is brown.
The "small hat", on the right, is red.
1 is a dual fuel. 1 is a single mantle.

The brown is the one I use the most.

2 stoves, a 2 burner and a 3 burner. Much prefer the 2 burner.

3 propane stoves. 1 a single burner, fits on top of 1# bottle, good for coffee pot.

1930s era kerosene heater / stove.

Used a Coleman catalytic heater for 2 weeks in Colorado on an elk hunt. Made for toasty sleeping, while it was -5° outside.

@2busy do you know if any of the 220 models came with a red valve knob from the factory? I have one from the 80s that looks like new but has a red knob on it. Not sure if it’s one someone pieced together. This is the one in question

I honestly don't know but someone on the Coleman forum will know. Stoves had red knobs also . One thing about Coleman factory, they used parts till they were gone. Also repair facilities didn't care what color knob they put on them .
