The only way that red trajectory and the previously-quoted 0.5AU distance work is if ISON's orbit is not in the ecliptic. In that case, there's pretty much no chance of it colliding with Earth.

Dammit, now someone has to go dig Reddog out of his bunker. Whose turn is it this time?

What is the "Gould Trajectory"?

NM...found it. Seems to me, any claims of developing an accurate post-sun trajectory before ISON has even started it's swing around the sun are nothing more than wild ass guesses. That being said, maybe it's time Reddog and I get better acquainted. LOL.
